She is only 20 years old but the French woman has already achieved an impressive record. Since 2012, Marie-Eve Gahie has won every year a medal in the international championships.

U18 World and European champion in 2013, after a 3rd place in 2012, she ranked 3rd at the U21 World championships in 2014. In 2015, she is outclassed in the Senior division and won the Gold medal in Baku, at the European Games, with the French team.

The rocket is on orbit… Marie-Eve Gahie (5,75 ft ; -155 lbs) is going to make a tremendous year 2016. At only 18 years old, she wins two Grand-Prix, Almaty and Samsun, a Senior national title (she was already 2nd in 2014), a U21 European Gold medal, before ending the year by a success in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam !

Scouted very early by the French Federation, the Parisian girl is on her way to catch up with her glorious elders. The challenge is as high as its talent. Marie-Eve Gahie is not that much impressed. Her faith ? « aiming to be the best », she laughs. Lucie Decosse, 2012 Olympic champion, 3 times World champion and 4 times European one, won her 1st continental title when she was 21 and her 1st World one when she 24. Gevrise Emane, 3 times World champion, 5 times European one and Olympic medallist, when she 23 and 25.

For her 1st Senior European championship, last April, the Adidas Team member brilliantly won the bronze medal. At the end of August, Marie-Eve Gahie will participate to her 1st World championship. She will only be 21 on November 27th. A star is on her road to shine…
