Gevrise Emane entered the legend of French sport and international Judo when she won her 3rd title of world champion in 2015, 8 years after the first one. But she had already won enough glory to mark the history of her sport. Gevrise Emane, it’s 5 European champion titles won in ten years in two different categories. It is also and above all 5 podiums at the World championships, including 3 gold medals (2007, 2011 in -63 kg and 2015 in -70 kg), a place of world n°1 between 2011 and 2013. Only the Olympia escaped her despite a last attempt in Rio in 2016 where she ends her career. Bronze medalist at the London Olympics, the Franco-Cameroonian withdrew with just impressive records : 12 international podiums, including 8 gold medals, and 16 podiums including 8 wins on the IJF World Tour.
