This week, Baku hosts the two biggest events of this year’s end, the 2016 Grand-Prix final (December 9th-10th) and the Team World championships (December 12th-13th).
The Grand-Prix final will oppose the 128 top Olympic-ranked athletes (16 per category) and will nominate the 2016 circuit winner.
The Team World championships (5 fighters + 1 substitute) only concern the 8 best nations. For the 1st time, in addition to the male and female tournaments, mixed-gender teams will take to the field of play.
Off the Olympic Games last summer, adidas is back ! It has taken over the electronic materials for the tournaments. The brand leader in the Taekwondo market has become the WTF official partner for the next big vents.
After the Youth World Championships last November, the KP&P PSS system developed by adidas was chosen to equip the athletes for these two competitions and for the coming World championships hold in Muju, Korea, from June 24th to 30th 2017.
